About Bespoke Mongolia Tours
My name is Javka, and I am the founder of Bespoke Mongolia Tours. I was born and raised in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, by my widowed grandfather who was one of the last surviving veterans of the Khalkhin Gol War of 1939. Though my grandfather was a poor man, he instilled in me a deep love and appreciation for my country.
As a young man, I had the opportunity to study English at Saint Thomas University in Saint Paul, Minnesota. It was during my time abroad that I truly came to understand the uniqueness and splendor of Mongolia. Inspired by my grandfather's lessons and my own experiences, I returned home dedicated to building the best possible tourism experience to showcase the glorious land of Mongolia and its remarkable history to the world.
I began my career as a tour guide, sharing my passion for Mongolia's culture and natural beauty with visitors. I then went on to work in the marketing department of the Ulaanbaatar tourism office, representing our country at international tourism events and conventions. Eventually, I decided to start my own company, Bespoke Mongolia Tours, to provide travelers with an even more enjoyable and authentic Mongolian experience.
At Bespoke Mongolia Tours, we strive to enable our travelers to learn, feel, and experience Mongolia as the locals do. We work with a team of knowledgeable local experts to foster connections between our guests and the communities we serve. In doing so, we aim to provide insights into Mongolia's diverse cultures and the nomadic way of life, all while contributing to the growth of our local economies.
We firmly believe that responsible travel plays a vital role in preserving the planet's natural beauty and cultural heritage for future generations. As such, we take great pride in being part of this important movement, and we are dedicated to delivering exceptional, sustainable tourism experiences for all who choose to explore the wonders of Mongolia with us.
